The hot-rolled steel coil obtains the required geometric size, compression ratio, plate shape, etc. after pickling and cold rolling, and the dirt and grease on the surface of the strip steel are cleaned by chemical, physical and electrochemical methods through the degreasing unit, which is conducive to obtaining the required finish on the surface of the steel plate after annealing, and the work hardening and the recovery of deformed grains and the required surface cleanliness are removed by annealing the annealing furnace. After annealing, enter the leveling unit to level the steel plate, and eliminate the yield platform inside the annealed steel plate through the reasonable use of tension and rolling force, so as to obtain the mechanical properties required by the customer, as well as the further improvement of the plate type, and obtain the required plate surface cleanliness through the wet leveling mode.

Hot-rolled coils are produced using continuous cast slabs or hot-rolled slabs as raw material. These are heated in a furnace to 1100°C-1300°C, placing them above the recrystallization temperature. They are then continuously rolled through roughing and finishing mill stands, followed by controlled cooling via a laminar cooling system. Finally, they are coiled by a coiler.

Performance Characteristics

Mechanical Properties: Yield strength typically ranges from 235 MPa to 355 MPa, tensile strength from 370 MPa to 550 MPa, and elongation from 20% to 35%. It exhibits moderate strength, good toughness, and excellent ductility, making it suitable for secondary processing such as cold rolling or stamping.

Surface Quality: High-temperature oxidation produces a rough scale layer, resulting in a surface less smooth than cold-rolled steel. Dimensional accuracy is also relatively lower.

Other Characteristics: Exhibits good weldability, low internal stress, coarse yet uniform grain structure, consistent and stable performance, high production efficiency, and low manufacturing costs.
